Multi-Site and Multi-Branch Year-End Team Building: Bring Your Whole Network Together

You run a branch network, you lead internal communications for a group spread over several sites, or you work in HR for a company whose teams are split between a headquarters, factories and regional offices. Every year, the same question comes up: how do you bring everyone together for the end of the year, without gathering 300 people in one place?
This guide is for you. It starts from your real constraints: branches that do not know each other, a headquarters sometimes seen as distant, public opening hours, and a budget that does not let you pay the train fare for everyone. It is all about multi-site year-end team building that actually works.
Why the classic year-end party does not work for a network
- It only brings together those who can come. Headquarters celebrates, the branches look at the photos.
- It is expensive. Transport, accommodation, venue, catering: bringing a network together quickly costs a lot, before you even talk about entertainment.
- It does not create bonds between sites. Even when everyone is in the same room, people stick with their usual colleagues.
- It ignores field constraints. A branch open to the public or a factory running in shifts cannot close for the afternoon.
The solution: a year-end challenge between sites or branches
Instead of moving people around, make distance part of the game. A challenge with a leaderboard by branch or by site gives everyone a reason to play: defending their team's colors. Branches challenge each other, messages fly on Teams, and colleagues who never spoke end up comparing their times.
Our Christmas escape game, designed for networks
- 15 minutes a week in December: a new episode opens every week. It can be played between two client appointments, during a quiet hour, whenever each branch can.
- A leaderboard by branch, by region or by job: the ranking follows your organization. Look at averages rather than totals, and the small 6-person branch keeps its chances against headquarters.
- One single link for the whole network, restricted to your company email addresses, with a communication kit ready to be relayed by your branch managers.
- A live dashboard: you see which branches are playing, which ones to remind, and you present a figures-based report to management.
- In French and English, for groups with locations abroad (see our guide to year-end events with international teams).
→ Discover the Christmas escape game for the whole company (the first episode can be tested for free).
And for the moment when you do meet in person?
Many networks still organize a physical highlight: a convention, a branch managers' seminar, an evening at headquarters. For that moment, we come to you with an in-person escape game: a Game Master, one case per team (a tablet and clues to handle), a 1.5-hour mission, up to 100 participants. Mix the branches within each team: it is the fastest way to get people who only know each other by email to meet. SCOR chose this format to bring 60 employees together during its seminar in a Châteauform' venue.
Expect about €80 excl. VAT per participant, all inclusive, travel included. We operate throughout France, with better value for money in the Paris region (Île-de-France) and the Nantes area.
How to organize it, step by step
- Set the goal. Thank the network, bring headquarters and branches closer, integrate branches acquired during the year? The goal guides how you form the teams.
- Choose how the leaderboard is split. By branch, by region, by job, or mixed teams across sites.
- Get the relays on board. Branch or site managers are your best ambassadors: give them the message to relay and the live leaderboard.
- Announce the challenge in late November, by email and on internal channels, with a short reminder at each new episode.
- Close with a prize ceremony, by video call for the whole network, or during your in-person highlight.
Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum number of participants?
For the online Christmas game, there is no practical limit: beyond 1,000 employees, we prepare a custom quote. For the on-site escape game, up to 100 participants at the same time.
Our branches are open to the public. Is that compatible?
Yes. A episode lasts 15 minutes and can be played whenever you like, throughout the week. Nobody needs to close the branch.
Can employees abroad play too?
Yes, the game is available in French and English, and everyone plays at a time that suits them.
