Disability awareness training : Make inclusion a team reflex
French and English
- Duration: two 20-minute modules
- On-site or online
Disability at work is often invisible and poorly understood. Our “In their shoes” mini-games let players live 15 work situations, first without adjustments, then with them: everyone sees what really changes and leaves with the right reflex.

They trusted us to engage their teams
Why inclusion can’t wait any longer
Every team includes colleagues who live with a disability, often without anyone knowing. What holds them back is rarely the disability itself: far more often, it is misconceptions, poorly designed tools or the fear of getting it wrong.
Disabilities are often invisible
Specific learning disorders (such as dyslexia), chronic illnesses, hearing or mental health conditions: many disabilities cannot be seen. Without awareness, needs go unspoken and adjustments are never requested.
A legal obligation and a matter of equality
In France, companies with at least 20 employees must employ 6% of workers with disabilities. And disability remains the leading ground for discrimination complaints to the Défenseur des droits (French rights ombudsman): changing perceptions is as much a legal issue as a cultural one.
Solutions are often simple
Subtitles on video calls, readable documents, better organized meetings: many adjustments cost little and benefit the whole team. You just need to know about them and feel able to talk about them.
Content built on trusted sources
Our scenario draws on scientific publications and recognized frameworks, so your awareness training stays up to date and in line with what the authorities expect.

Still have a question?
We’ll tell you everything!
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about organizing, running and pricing our online escape games for businesses.
How can you raise employee awareness of disability without making them feel guilty?
By putting them in real situations rather than lecturing them. Our “In their shoes” mini-games let each participant step into the shoes of a colleague with a disability, without adjustments and then with them. They discover that colleague’s daily life for themselves, in a supportive and playful setting. The debrief then gives everyone room to ask the questions they would not usually dare to ask.
Which disabilities does the game cover?
Two modules of about 20 minutes. “At the office”: physical disability, dyslexia, color blindness, hearing and visual impairments, attention disorders and fatigue, at the screen (emails, spreadsheets, video calls). “Around the workplace and team life”: commuting, evacuation, lunch, job interview, guidance, open-plan office, handling a crisis and an offsite. Each situation is played without adjustments, then with the solution that already exists.
What activity can you run during European Disability Employment Week?
European Disability Employment Week (SEEPH) takes place every year in November: in 2026, from November 16 to 22. A serious game session makes a unifying highlight: it brings together teams on-site and remotely, changes perceptions in about 20 minutes per module and provides practical tools. It pairs well with a DuoDay, a talk or a session led by your disability lead.
Can the disability awareness activity be run remotely?
Yes. The game runs in a web browser, over video call on Teams, Zoom or Google Meet, with nothing to install: employees working from home or at other sites take part at the same time as everyone else. That is a real advantage during a themed week, when on-site activities often leave part of the workforce out. The format is also available on-site, with a Game Master in the room.
How long does the disability awareness training last, and for how many participants?
Each module takes about 20 minutes, in 3-minute situations. Everyone plays on their own computer, at their own pace, with a shared leaderboard; the two modules can run together or on two days of the week. At the end of each situation: a key figure and the right reflex at work.
Can we showcase our disability policy and our disability lead?
Yes. The introductory video can present your disability policy, your commitments and your disability lead or disability inclusion team. The good practices in the game can reflect your own schemes, and a tailored follow-up email reminds everyone who to contact and how to request an adjustment.
Is disability awareness training mandatory for companies?
No law requires companies to train all their employees, but the topic is linked to very real obligations. In France, companies with at least 20 employees must employ 6% of workers with disabilities. Raising your teams’ awareness helps with recruiting, onboarding and keeping people in work.
