Cybersecurity awareness training : Make cybersecurity a team reflex

  • French and English
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • On-site or online

Phishing, passwords, data sharing: your employees are the company’s first line of defense. Our escape room puts them in real situations, as a team, so they can spot the traps and adopt the right habits from the very next day.

Why cybersecurity can’t wait any longer

Most cyberattacks don’t force the door: they get someone to open it. A click on a fake email, a reused password or a file shared too widely is often enough to expose the whole company.

  • The human factor on the front line

According to the Verizon 2026 DBIR, the human element is involved in 62% of data breaches. Phishing, CEO fraud, fake IT support: attackers target people first, because it is easier to trick someone than to get around a firewall. Every employee is a target, whatever their job.

  • Growing obligations

GDPR, the DORA regulation for the financial sector, the NIS 2 directive currently being transposed in France: European texts increasingly and explicitly expect staff training and awareness activities. Awareness training is becoming a compliance issue, not just good practice.

  • A team reflex

Security does not rest with the IT department alone. Reporting a suspicious email, locking your computer, daring to ask before making a payment: these habits stick when the whole team shares them, without blaming anyone.

Content built on trusted sources

Our scenario draws on scientific publications and recognized frameworks, so your awareness training stays up to date and in line with what the authorities expect.

Still have a question?
We’ll tell you everything!

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about organizing, running and pricing our online escape games for businesses.

  • Which cybersecurity topics does the game cover?

The risks every employee faces day to day: suspicious emails and phishing, password management, data sharing and data leaks, and risky use of digital tools. The content is deliberately non-technical so that it speaks to every role.

  • Is cybersecurity awareness training mandatory?

No text imposes a specific format, but several point in that direction. The GDPR requires personal data to be secured, which means trained employees. In the financial sector, the DORA regulation, applicable since January 2025, provides for awareness programs for all staff. The NIS 2 directive points the same way; its transposition in France is still under discussion in Parliament.

  • Does an escape room replace phishing simulation campaigns?

No, the two complement each other. A phishing simulation measures who clicks, but can feel like a trap. The escape room explains why people get caught out and how to react, in a supportive setting where mistakes are part of learning. The game can launch or close a campaign, and your usual simulations then measure progress over time.

  • How long does the cybersecurity awareness training last, and how many employees can play?

Allow 90 minutes: an introductory video, a five-stage mission (puzzles, a recap video and a reinforcement quiz at each stage), then a wrap-up and discussion. Participants play in teams of 1 to 4, and a single session can bring together 8 to 500 people (more on request) at the same time, online or on-site, in French or English.

  • How can we run Cybersecurity Awareness Month (Cybermois) in our company?

Cybersecurity Awareness Month, in October, is when employees are most receptive to security messages. An escape room session can be its highlight: announced through internal communications, played as a team over an hour and a half, then followed up with an email pointing to your internal rules. Online, all your sites can take part on the same day.

  • Can we include our security policy in the game?

Yes. The introductory video can be customized to present your challenges and your security team, the good practices in the game can reflect your own rules (reporting procedure, approved tools, password manager), and a tailored follow-up email points to your charter or your intranet.

  • Does the game meet our IT department’s security requirements?

The game opens in a web browser, with no software to install, and is played over video call on Teams, Zoom or Google Meet: your employees use their usual tools. A demo lets you check access from your usual workstations before booking the session.

  • How can you measure the impact of the awareness training?

Each stage ends with a reinforcement quiz that shows what the teams have retained, and each participant rates the session at the end. Across all our awareness sessions, the average learning score is 4.37/5.
