GreenTech Forum 2024: for an innovative digital sector committed to the environment

The GreenTech Forum brings together digital and environmental players to discuss today's challenges and keep rolling out responsible digital practices (Green IT) across France and Europe.

The 2024 program offers talks, workshops, round tables and demonstrations on a range of themes:

  • The environmental impact of digital technology
  • Solutions to reduce your ecological footprint
  • Careers in responsible digital
  • Public policies on digital technology and the environment

This is a must-attend event for companies, organizations and institutions that want to adopt a responsible digital approach and bring their employees on board with their Green IT efforts.

The Wokies is back to speed up the responsible digital transition

For the third year in a row, The Wokies will be at the GreenTech Forum, the flagship event for professionals committed to more responsible digital technology, on November 5 and 6, 2024 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. An innovative player in raising awareness of ecological issues through serious games, The Wokies offers immersive experiences that encourage companies to adopt sustainable digital practices and to raise their employees' awareness in an active and fun way.

Immersive awareness training on responsible digital

Facing the environmental emergency, the impact of digital technology on our planet is a growing concern for companies. The Wokies meets this challenge by developing serious escape games that raise employees' awareness of the environmental impact of their digital habits. Whether online or in person, participants are immersed in an engaging 1.5-hour universe where each step of the game introduces key notions on energy consumption, the carbon footprint of equipment, and electronic waste management.

This serious game gives teams a shared base of knowledge, with a clear goal: turning awareness into concrete action and lastingly improving digital practices within their organization.

A workshop on how serious games drive employee engagement

On Tuesday, November 5 from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, at the Atelier Neuilly area, The Wokies will co-host a workshop alongside Sopra Steria and Enedis.

This session will show how large groups like Sopra Steria and Enedis use serious games to bring their employees on board with their Green IT approach. Hosted by Clément Lemerle, co-founder of The Wokies, the workshop will include testimonials from Andréa Meneses, training manager at the Sopra Steria Academy, and Fanny Poulain, environment project manager at Enedis.

  • Sopra Steria will explain how it includes The Wokies' serious escape game in the onboarding path of new employees, giving them awareness training on responsible digital as soon as they arrive. This approach helps build a company culture focused on sustainability from the very first steps of onboarding.
  • Enedis, for its part, will share its experience of using the serious game during themed days such as Digital Clean Up Day and the European Sustainable Development Weeks. These rallying events let teams get actively involved in an eco-responsible approach and contribute to the company's sustainable development goals.

The Wokies will be represented at this forum by Clément LEMERLE, who will take part in the workshop:
