Great Place to Work 2022: 5 of our partner companies make the list

After another year shaped by repeated lockdowns, The Wokies (formerly Escape Game en Ligne) is proud to have supported several of its partners on their Great Place to Work journey.
In total, 5 of our partners (Accenture, Cisco Systems, Livestorm, Salesforce and Wavestone) were recognized for the quality of their employee experience. We are especially grateful for the trust they place in us to energize their communities and improve cohesion in their teams through remote team building.
And the cherry on top: 3 of our partners finished in first place in their respective employee-size categories (see the ranking below) 🥇
Why does this matter to us?
Great Place to Work is the leading authority on quality of life at work. To decide which companies are the best places to work, they put trust at the heart of the employee experience and assess it along 3 dimensions:
- Credibility, respect and fairness in the relationship between employees and managers;
- Pride in one's work;
- Camaraderie with colleagues.
That last point is exactly where we have always wanted to support our partners. From day one, we created The Wokies to help companies stay in touch with their remote employees. With 70% of remote workers saying they miss social connection, our mission is to let employees enjoy moments of camaraderie with their teams 🎉
That is our purpose, and we are honored to see that companies that put the employee experience first trust us.
How does The Wokies create unifying moments and improve team cohesion?
An escape game, an investigation game where you solve puzzles by working together, is a moment of camaraderie by nature! You search, dig and solve riddles together to escape on time and win the game 🕵️♀️
At The Wokies, we took the experience even further and made two choices that improve the employee experience. These two features are also the secret of our success (and yes, it is not for nothing that we have 100+ reviews on Google and a 5-star rating!)
- Most digital experiences rely on automating the activity.
At The Wokies, we kept a Game Master leading each session so that interaction and conversation stay at the heart of the experience! In a remote work context, our partners above all want to humanize relationships, not automate them!
- Online activities are usually individual activities.
Yes, employees can be in a team or together during wine tastings, blind tests, karaoke or quizzes. Unfortunately, each of them is on their own and no spirit of collaboration develops. The same goes for many online escape games that copy the mechanics of physical rooms: everyone has access to all the clues.
At The Wokies, we decided to split the clues among the participants, so every player has to collaborate with teammates to move forward in the adventure. Thanks to this feature, everyone stays connected without turning off their camera or muting their mic.
The result? Pleasantly surprised participants who love the clue-sharing concept. So, ready to try the adventure? 👀
